These earrings look wonderful on, the color is so flattering! So hello Beadheads, I’ve got to share just the sweetest story! Thank you Chad of WI, I’ve always said how I love the good folks in Madison and how sick I am when I get rejected every year. There was a time I did Madison 4 yrs in a row. Today I recieved a call from “Chad”. He had purchased a bracelet for his wife and was going to send a check. Upon cleaning his office 3yrs later he found said bracelet and gave me a call to send a check for it. This people is how nice some of my customers are, so honest and it just totally made my day! Again, I say Thank You Chad! What a wonderful person and husband you are! Take care all, I’ve got a project going of my own, trying to get a spare junk room cleaned up and painted and made into a new guest room. Also planted strawberries today. So tired I’m headed in to watch Oprah, showered and in my pj’s at 4p! BK~

These beads are so pretty. Can’t wait to make them into earrings. The base bead is pale emerald, think Coke bottle) and the outside edge is torquoise. They are so shimmery! Picture does not do them justice. Take care all! BK~
Hope you are all well, who ever you are! 80 degree weather coming this weekend. I’m heading to Ken Shenstones largest amagama kiln in North America!! You can google that to have a look at Ken and his kiln. Open house is Sunday in Albion Mi. Tons of people, that is happening on this Sunday 9a-3p. If you’ve never seen something like this you’ll be amazed at the undertaking and process.
Everything is ok here, hope you like the new beads. The pink lentils will be earrings, the pic does not do them justice. I am waitlisted for Upper Arlington. I’m not even sure where that show is, I think it’s in Indiana. My number is 12 so I’m somewhat doubtful I’ll be doing that show, but you never know. Thanks for checking the site! Be back soon, or as they say in jamaica “Come Soon”. Lotsa Love, BK~

You guys are beautiful! Joe’s very good friends came and planted the most beautiful ornamental apple tree out in the back today. It was planted very near to where we scattered Joe’s ashes. Touched ny heart so much. It will blossom every spring and I’ll see it every time I walk the dogs (which is twice a day). I’ve noticed quite a few people have googled Joe’s name and I’d just like to say if you want to call me to talk about it you sure are invited to do so, my number is 734-428-8513. I love hearing and speaking his name so if it would help you to talk to me I’m here for you.
It’s time for me to put on my pj’s and head for bed. More beadmaking and new photos tomorrow. OH! and I almost forgot to tell you I was accepted into the Charlevoix art fair in August 8th!! SO very glad to get into that show. I was feeling like I would’nt get in but surprize. Always great to have a road trip up north. If anyone would like to come up I have a free place you can stay with me at the little house in Ellsworth. I’m not kidding! Take me up on it. Lotsa Love, BK~
Happy Friday Beadheads! Sure is a beautiful one here. Hope you are all well. It’s been a pretty good week here. Luke and I went to our first suicide survivor meeting on Tuesday. There were 15 people and I had thought what the heck do they talk about for 2hrs? Anything and everything that’s what! Feelings that you experience are put on the table and you are supported 100%. Just get it all out. This is such a good and healthy thing to do and we both just loved being surrounded by people who understood exactaly what we were experiencing.
I’ve been at the studio alot and am working on those small face beads. It sure takes alot of trial and error to get where you want to be with faces. Life is good. Peace, BK~

This is fun, no work at Fedex today! I took the day off. I plan on finding some info about refinancing the house today. Just getting that done will feel good. I’ll head out to the shop later this afternoon. Hope your Easter went well. Saw my family and friends and enjoyed doing nothing much but visiting.
About a month ago I discovered a bead maker that had perhaps the most lovely and imaginative beads I’ve ever seen. Please take some time to look at her site. She is French so much is not written in English but you can still navigate her site. Check it out www.gastling.com have a really great day! Peace, BK~

Getting better at the raking part of this bead. Raking is now one of my favorite bead surfaces to do. More to come. Thanks for checking in, headed to the shower and snuggle into bed with a good book. BK~
Hello All, I am feeling worn out today, about a 4.5 (sometimes sinking lower) on the happiness scale, a 10 being the highest. I think I’ll just give you all the happiness quotient everyday, just so you know how I feel. I was reading my al-anon book which helped..”.just know that you won’t feel this way forever, it will pass”, it was helpful. Today was definatly the day not to try to perfect the little dog beads. In case you don’t realize it beadmaking takes alot of concentration, especially when you’re trying something new out of your comfort zone. Let’s see Survivor on tomorrow nite…..David has a class tonight….windy today….blah, blah, blah. Hope I cheered you all up!! Thanks for checkin’ in, more new beads tomorrow, sigh….BK~
